Ryan Wood PA-C

Ryan is a board-certified Physician Assistant dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy skin through compassionate, personalized care. He earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and completed the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) Diplomate Fellowship, an advanced training program in dermatology.

Ryan enjoys caring for patients of all ages and has a strong interest in skin cancer detection and prevention, as well as treating conditions like acne, rosacea, eczema, and psoriasis. He believes in taking the time to listen to patients, answer questions, and develop treatment plans that fit each person’s individual needs and goals.

Originally from New Mexico, Ryan followed an unconventional path to medicine. Before becoming a Physician Assistant, he studied music and trained with members of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Chicago Symphony Orchestra. His background in music taught him the value of dedication, attention to detail, and lifelong learning—qualities he brings to patient care every day.

When he is not in the clinic, Ryan enjoys running, playing music, traveling, and spending time with his cat, Alfie.
